VWG 6.2.1 install and Application Upgrade

Hi Guys,
I installed 6.2.1 without uninstalling my previous version 6.1.2.
Is this OK? I notice that my GAC has 2 versions of Gizmox.WebGUI.Forms however when I add each reference
they both point to the same file.

My application seems to be working fine, however I am suspicious that I am still running the old version.

I found a post that said that I should clear my browser cache, and cached assemblies, can you confirm and
document this?

I am also having a problem getting the catalog application to work. I fixed the references and copied over
the contents of the web.3.5.config to the web.config.

But I get this error when it runs.

msxml3.dll: NodeTest expected here.

Can you include an upgrade section in your doco if it needs it?

Regards,
         Alistair

Re: VWG 6.2.1 install and Application Upgrade
Hello Alistair!

I suggest that you remove the VWG SDK you have installed and the remove all the browser and server cache you have on your system as details in that post you mentioned.

Then look for Gizmox assemblies in your GAC and remove all of them if you find any.

Reboot you machine and reinstall the VWG SDK you used before.

If you still have problems after that, please reply to this post.
