Hi Palli
Any snow in Iceland yet? Hey, Isnt there any easier way to add FCK to a project? I'm stumbling here.
1. I checked out the video which was pre the 6.1.4 release I am using, and got confused as the names dont gel 2. I added the statement to the web config OK. 3. I found a VWG sourceforge link that wasnt broken and downloaded FCK 2.6.3 (no wrapper though) and the dll's all are prefixed FredCK, *gulp* 4. I found the trunk link, but what on earth, I need to load 'tortoise'? 5. I'm skeptical to add this FCK project to my solution as it seems to me a lot a overhead to carry for one control.
Man, I feel so junior!! :)
how about...
1. AddSelect the FCK toolbox item (no reference, its in Forms.Extended) 2. Drag to form. 3. Add to the web config - or let the new 6.1.4 wildcard in the control statement do its magic. 4. Use the control
Am I dreaming for the above?
Getting FCK added to a project sure isnt elegant.

Hi Mike !
No sir, no show yet. Global warming issues prevent us from getting any snow here yet, and you'll probably get some in Canada before we get any here :-) We got leftowers of hurrycane Ike passing through yesterday though :-)
I agree with you that it's nothing elegant with adding the FCK editor to your project. And you do need Tortouise or some other client to the the SVN source code.
Tell you what, if you create a project with just the FCK editor in it on a simple form, that you can't get working, zip it and email it and I'll try to make a shot at finding what's wrong.
Hopefully you're at NET 3.5 v6.1.4 though, because I'm not eager to uninstall anything to test it.
You have my email, so feel free.
