FCKEditor button events
Hi,
I'm trying to find way to get the 'click action' on the button 'Save' from FCK, so that I can commit the changes made with the editor to the database. Is there a way to do that or do I need to create a button for that purpose in my webgui app?
I know that likely the click event is a client side script, but maybe I could do something with a submit/post-back...

Thanks

Re: FCKEditor button events

Hi,

It is definitely possible but it is slightly complicated doing it as you need to have a deep understanding of VWG. I will try to create a small script library that you could use to make this task simple as adding a plug-in to FCK and executing a method with in the script library.

Cheers,
Guy

Re: FCKEditor button events
OK,
thanks for your attention and let me know when you have some news on that, please

I think it's better that this script comes somehow embedded in a next version of the module (a new event 'OnButtonClick' to handle, maybe? hehe), cause it's very probably that someone else will need this feature too..
