Link to Microsoft download page
I install these instead of Silverlight 2.0 SDK, and now everything works perfect. But guys, please fix this as soon as possible as SL 2.0 is state of the art now. |

Hello,
We have a detailed explanation of the steps required to have the VWG Silverlight Extenstion working correctly.
Please view this explanation here.
The contents of that thread will be added within a few days to a new How-To article on our website for the use of our community.
In order for us to understand the problem you previously encountered, I need you to please provide us with the following details:
- When you had the tabs missing from the the VWG Application project properties, did you install the VWG SDK as Typical or Complete/Custom? A 'Typical' installation does not install the integration components and so does not install the additional tabs.
- When you installed the Silverlight SDK from the link you added in your last post, did you uninstall the VWG SDK beforehand? If not, what where the steps you took next? If yes, did you install the VWG SDK afterwards as Complete or Custom?
- If you originally installed the VWG SDK in a non Typical installation and didn't have the Silverlight SDK installed, did the VWG SDK installation not show you an error/warning message during installation, that told you that you didn't have the Silverlight SDK installed and that you need to install it to have the VWG Silverlight Extension working?

Hi camazorro,
Did you send us the log files already?
To create log files of the installation process you should run the following command:
msiexec /i "Setup SDK35 6.2.0.msi" /l*v loginstall.txt

As we said before, this problem couldn't be reproduced in our env.
However, We haven't heard any complaints about it since version 6.2.1.
I suggest you try 6.2.2 which was released today and is more stable than 6.2.0.
Please tell us if this solves your problem.
Thanks,
Dror Shahak
