P3 : 487b693e     P4 : gizmox.webgui.silverlight.packaging     P5 : 1.0.0.0
P6 : 487b693e     P7 : 84     P8 : 95     P9 : system.invalidcastexception

Hello,

As the way you chose to do this is not the common way, and as I believe that the problem is with your themes definition in your Web.config file, I need you to please reply to this post with the "Themes
" and "SilverlightPackages" sections of your Web.config file.

Based on this new information I would be able to give you the details on how to fix your situation so your Silverlight packager would work fine, or suggest changes in our packager so this won't be a problem in the future.

Re: Extending existing non-silverlight applications
The only entry I had was a default Themes with an entry commented out. I have now added the Themes and SilverlightPackages from a dummy project and it now builds succesfully.
